If you want to know what really matters, talk to any of our distant relatives, the great apes. They will tell you if they could talk that the law of the jungle is still in effect for all primates, of which we share some 98% of our DNA,
And who are we going to believe? That is the question isn't it, who or what to believe.
It seems Impossible to back up every thing we believe with independent investigation isn't it. Oh we can take for granted ancient texts written by persons who have had no exposure to modern life such as trains planes, automobiles, electricity or computers, can't we. Of course we can, if we choose to believe in Dragons and Faries and spirits and such,
And that is where we are today, we pick and choose what we deem truth to be. Or more correctly, we are led by those who have studied a carefully selected, revised, ancient text, of which there are several.
And which of these incompatible ancient texts are we to take as our belief? Well that is a condition of where we were born. And where we were exposed to a carefully edited text by persons whose daily bread is garnered by explaining these texts, weekly over and over again, in meeting places called churches, temples, mosques or synagogues.
So much for how we got here, glad we covered that subject. Now on to more important things.
What you say? Are you going to leave is here? Afraid i'm going to have to for this subject is too volatile to cover here. What I am trying to convey is, if some one's daily bread is a consideration of what you are to believe, that belief is to be suspect.
This is a universal truth, people will spread all kind of bovine excrement and do the most ridiculous unscrupulous things to get hold of a house, car, and all the stuff that will keep them entertained and not thinking the thoughts that could free us all as a species.
But if you want to really be free, If you really want to know all the mysteries of the world. Follow one precept follow the money. Basic education should be considered free. All truths should be considered free. If they are not free and not subject to your independent investigation they should be suspect.
We have replaced the law of the jungle "eat or be eaten" with the civilized phrase "follow the money" basically the same thing.
